My Mortgage Process
A mortgage is one of the largest financial decisions most people make.
My role is not simply to find a rate – it is to design a mortgage strategy that fits your life today and continues to work for you over time.
Here is how the process works.
Step 1 – Mortgage Discovery Call
Every client relationship begins with a conversation.
During the Discovery Call we review:
• your current situation
• your goals and timeline
• income and debt structure
• down payment or equity
• any professionals you are working with (realtor, financial planner, accountant)
This conversation allows me to understand the full picture before recommending a strategy.
Often we will also complete the mortgage application during this call.

Step 2 – Mortgage Application
Once we have reviewed your situation, we gather the information needed to move forward.
This includes:
• completing the application
• credit consent
• supporting documents
My team manages document collection and lender communication to keep everything organized and efficient.
Step 3 – Mortgage Strategy Plan
After reviewing your application and documents, I prepare your personalized mortgage strategy.
You will receive:
• a strategy email
• a short Loom video explaining your options
• 2–3 recommended mortgage structures
This allows you to understand not just the rate, but the structure and long-term impact of your mortgage.
You then choose the option that best fits your goals.
Step 4 – Approval to Funding
Once you select your strategy, the mortgage is submitted to the lender.
My team manages:
• lender approvals
• document conditions
• signing instructions
• communication with your lawyer
Our goal is to make this stage smooth and stress-free.
Step 5 – Ongoing Mortgage Support
The relationship does not end when the mortgage funds.
Over time I continue to help clients with:
• mortgage reviews
• refinance opportunities
• equity planning
• renewal strategy
You will also receive regular check-ins and updates so your mortgage continues to support your financial goals.
